First of all, sometimes due to this devil-may-care situation students are not motivated enough and therefore do not spend their time sufficiently and can end up using a bit too much on their bachelor course for example. In case they had spent more effort, they maybe would have finished the bachelor degree earlierand as a consequence would have a chance to register for master in advance starting their career and therefore enhance their salary possibilities.
